Hiatus

I have good news and bad news

I realized several weeks back that I had unfortunately failed to update this particular network on some important changes which explain why I fell silent after just two posts. I started this newsletter as a way to share more of my thinking around privacy while searching for a job, both to build up my portfolio on the topic and as a way to stay engaged while out of work.

The good news is that shortly after starting this project, I did end up finding a new role. The bad news is it places some limits on how I engage externally on privacy topics in particular.

This latest adventure is that I have returned to the privacy team at Apple, this time working in a more senior role with a focus on AI and machine learning. I am excited to be back and tackling such interesting challenges, but it makes it more difficult for me to share my thoughts on subject so close to my daily work at a high-profile player in this space.

I do hope one day to return to regular posting or at least find ways of sharing more on privacy, but for now I will leave this newsletter on hiatus, and you can feel free to adjust your subscriptions however you see fit based on that news.
